Small scale business support

The Judith Obina Foundation is dedicated to empowering women through small-scale business initiatives known as “Bolcup,” a system of small business SACCOs aimed at fostering economic independence. These initiatives provide women in the Acholi subregion and other parts of Uganda with the tools, resources, and support needed to start and grow their own businesses. By promoting financial literacy and offering access to micro-loans, we help participants build sustainable incomes and improve their quality of life. Bolcup empowers women to take control of their economic future, reducing poverty and creating opportunities within their communities. Through these enterprises, we encourage collaboration and community support, helping women to uplift one another as they grow their businesses. This program not only builds financial security but also reinforces social cohesion, making economic progress a driver of peace and stability. The foundation believes that when women succeed economically, entire communities thrive.
