The Judith Obina Foundation is excited to announce the Run for Peace event, a global initiative to bring people together in a collective effort to promote peace, unity, and healing. This event is more than just a race—it is a symbol of our shared commitment to building peaceful, inclusive, and resilient communities worldwide. Run for Peace is open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or location. Participants will run, walk, or jog to raise awareness about the importance of peace in tackling global challenges like conflict, poverty, inequality, and social injustice. By participating, you are taking a step toward creating a more harmonious world, where every individual can thrive in a peaceful and supportive environment.

Why Run for Peace? The Run for Peace event is an opportunity to:
Raise Awareness: Highlight the importance of peacebuilding in tackling global issues such as conflict, poverty, inequality and development.
Support Communities: Proceeds from the event will support the Judith Obina Foundation’s initiatives to provide psychosocial support, economic empowerment, and community-building efforts in conflict-affected areas and underserved regions globally.
Unite Globally: Whether you’re running in a city or participating virtually from anywhere in the world, this event connects people across the globe in solidarity for peace and development.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
In-Person: Join us at the main event location or one of our global partner cities.
Virtually: Run from anywhere and share your experience through our virtual race platform, where you can track your distance and share your message of peace. The run for peace will be an annual event.
